Enjoyable Sunday lunch with family and friends. The carvery beef was to die for. The veg etc was very good but might have been a tad hotter. But overall excellent service, friendly atmosphere and good food.
This pub is brilliant. Food is great - really solid, well cooked pub classics. I haven't had the carvery but friends say that it's really good. It's super cosy in the winter and stunning views across the valley when the weather is good! Often v busy, especially at the weekend so I would book in advance then.
Lovely pub with good food, we had a jacket potato thinking we'd have something light before walking our dog. I don't think I've seen a potato so big, I couldn't finish it! Very dog friendly, great beer couldn't fault it. Would go again if in the area without hesitation.
Nice pub. Great location. Food quality can be a little lower than expected. A great selection of cider would be nice. Generally a pleasant visit
Friendly staff, cheap and gorgeous hot chocolate to end a lovely walk, gorgeous view over the valley. Only reason it's 4 is that it was almost completely empty apart from a couple of people who made us feel a little outcast. Will definitely go again though!
